DID YOU KNOW? Demineralised Water is produced through specific treatment processes that remove the mineral salts and ions present in the water. Among the most commonly used methods are ion-exchange resins, which replace mineral ions with hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, and reverse osmosis, a technology that uses semi-permeable membranes to remove most of the dissolved impurities. In some cases, these systems are combined with additional filtration and purification stages to achieve the required quality level. The result is water with low conductivity and free from mineral residues, particularly suitable for technical and industrial applications and for equipment sensitive to limescale.
